Ansonia Clock Co., New York, "Rosalind" enameled iron 8 day time and strike mantel clock, c1904
CONDITION:
the black enamel has seriously degraded and there are some rusty spots, but this ornate clock, with no losses and most of its rear paper label intact, deserves restoration. The white porcelain dial, with its visible escapement, has some hairlines. The large beveled glass is fine. The movement's mainsprings are in open barrels, but it is missing the crutch and pendulum so will need professional attention. Ht. 12.5"
